EFT tapping

1. Acknowledge feelings

When you think about this issue, what feelings and sensations arise for you?

Where in your body can you sense these feelings and how strong do they feel from 0-10?

2. Set-up affirmation

“Even though I feel feelings when I think about issue, I accept myself and how I feel.”

Repeat this affirmation three times while tapping the acupoint on the side of your hand.

3. Acupoint tapping

On either side of the body, tap each emotional acupoint for two seconds while repeating a brief reminder phrase; “This feeling/issue.”

4. Check in again

Think of the original issue and notice what you can feel now that you have completed a round of tapping.

Repeat steps 1-4 until the intensity of your feelings comes down.

Emotional tapping points

Become familiar with these emotional acupoints as most of them are used during the tapping sequence. There’s no need to memorize each points emotional correlation, simply practice tapping on the correct position to form a healthy habitual practice.
